Our First Ave Loft Project was chosen as a finalist in HGTV Faces of Designs - Big City Digs. With polished cement ceilings and metallic light fixtures, this industrial urban loft in Minneapolis is full of character. To ensure the interior would feel warm and inviting, our team balanced those raw materials with soft rugs and used low-level, contemporary furniture to create a clear line of sight to the windows and unobstructed city views out the French doors.

 

A white palette makes this loft living room feel larger; placing the emphasis on the city views just outside. Industrial touches and warm maple add welcome contrast and texture. The room's neutral palette gets a color infusion with a painted front door in teal along with pillows and fun art.
